Frequently Asked Questions
I'm running Windows NT 4.0. In SoftICE, I type HWND, sometimes I get a
list of my windows, other times I get nothing. Why?
When you break into SoftICE and type in HWND, the return is dependent
upon what context you are in. If you happen to pop-up in an idle
thread, you may get nothing because there is no handle relating to this
context. Try typing in HWND with the name of your window and a list of
the handles attached to it will appear.
